Everly, IA (KICD)--An Everly man faces charges after allegedly breaking in to an ex-girlfriend's home.
Clay County Sheriff's officers say 28 year old Brandon Reed Harris was arrested last week Thursday.
The victim told deputies she'd broken up with Harris several weeks ago -- and that he had become upset when he learned she was dating someone else.
Deputies allege Harris made threatening phone calls to his ex and got in her home where he reportedly damaged a lot of her property. The victim fled after a call threatened her harm.
Harris is charged with third degree burglary and was jailed until he could appear in magistrate's court.
