50 Cent’s arraignment on domestic violence and vandalism charges has been postponed until Aug. 5.

The rapper’s attorneys requested the delay so they can arrange for their client to appear in court to face charges he attacked a former girlfriend in her home in Toluca Lake, California in June.

Daphne Joy dated the hitmaker, real name Curtis Jackson, for three years and reportedly shares a child with the rap star.

Reports suggest 50 Cent destroyed $7,100 worth of property, and left the scene before police arrived.

He faces up to five years behind bars, according to prosecutors.
